Round Rigid Containers

Hard-walled tubes or other round containers can be handled in a variety of different wrap-around methods, depending on size and throughput.

A simple semi-automatic labelling machine, such as the ALS 4310-MRU allows a range of products to be labelled where accuracy is required but volume does not warrant a fully automatic system.

For greater throughput, a product can be labelled on a roller conveyor, either horizontally or vertically if it is stable enough.

If the label(s) need to be applied in registration to a feature, printed mark or a weld-seam, then a gated three-roller unit will hold and turn the product until the point of registration is detected, allowing labels to be applied in the correct spot.
