Front of Pack

If the product cannot be first turned for side labelling, then, depending on your requirements, labels can be applied by either of the following methods:
  • Swing-arm, where labels are dispensed onto a vacuum plate positioned on the end of a moving arm which typically arcs through 90° to apply the label and retract again quickly without impeding progress of the product.

  • Roll-on, either from above the line or from the side, where the label is pre-dispensed, exposing 98% of the adhesive in the path of the on-coming pack. The label is supported by a sprung applicator roller which presses the label down by moving with the motion of the pack as it travels.
