Standard Features:
Constant Adjustable TorqueTM - also known as "CAT" technology, has made this silent, easy-to-use label rewinder, the industry standard. There are no awkward dancer arms, troublesome belts or clutches. The standard model handles labels up to 155 mm (6”) wide and will wind a roll of labels up to a 330 mm (13”) diameter. Torque and direction are fully controllable from the control panel.
Quick-Lock Core Chuck - The durable, quick-locking, core chuck permits the fastest loading and unloading of cores and label rolls. The quick-lock chuck is ideal for label slitting applications, high-volume production environments, or anywhere the ultimate convenience in rewinders is desired. Available in 38mm, 40mm, 44mm, 70mm, 76mm and 100 mm core sizes. Chucks can be changed by user.

A versatile label unwind/rewind station with label inspection & counting options. Conveniently unwind and rewind label rolls on one piece of equipment. It is the easiest solution for wind-in / wind-out, label reversing and inspection applications. |
The TWIN-CAT-2 is a Heavy Duty Dual-Spindle Unwinder / Rewinder. With two powerful motors and a choice of core holders it provides maximum versatility in setting up the operation you need. Both spindles can rewind or unwind. You control the direction and torque on each spindle independently. An external Halt control allows the unit to be stoppped and started with a foot switch or other external device if desired.
Here are some of the many possible applications:
- Unwind and Rewind labels on one machine. Ideal for “wind-in / wind-out” operations.
- Reverse the order of serialised labels on a roll.
- Conveniently rewind labels onto a different core size. With universal Adjustable Core Holders (“ACH”) you can unwind from any diameter core and rewind onto any diameter core within the range of 25 to 101 mm (1” to 4”) in diameter!
- Add the Label Inspection option to create a stand-alone Inspection Station. You can also add a Label Counter if you need one.
- Wind small rolls of labels from larger ones.
Available in many different configurations to fit perfectly into your label production.
All TWIN-CAT-2 Models operate at up to 76 cm per second.
